MAT PILATES

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility and long, lean muscles, strength and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back.

It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, correct breathing allows adequate oxygen flow to muscles, developing a strong core and improving coordination and balance. 

No muscle group is under or over trained. Pilates develops core strength, it enhances flexibility, sure-footedness, agility, and flattens the tummy as well as calming the mind!

Uses foam roller, massage balls, soft handball and small 1kg weighted balls or just simply a mat. These are 45 minute sessions to build flexibility and core strength. Suitable for beginners and the injured.

PILATES PRECISION

Similar to mat based Pilates this session uses the same principles and fundamentals of Pilates but with non-impact standing exercises and callenetics to work the more intricate muscles of the body. Suitable for beginners

PILATES STRONG

This 45 minutes class combines Pilates with TRX training and Big Ball to strengthen ALL functional muscles. Previous experience in Pilates is essential. Suitable for intermediates and advanced fitness levels. Trainers are required.

TRX PILATES

Total body resistance for muscle strength and toning. Using suspension straps designed by a US Navy SEAL, this is an advanced way of performing Pilates exercises and acts like a Pilates Reformer.

TRX FITNESS

A specialised form of suspension training that utilises equipment developed by a former US Navy SEAL. It’s an interval training strength programme that works the whole body. This is an advanced class.Generic big ball photo

YOGA FLOW

A dynamic and energetic class linking casual yoga asana (postures) with the breath, balancing mind and body. Ends with deep relaxation. Please bring yoga mats and blankets and cushions with you. Experience in yoga is preferable.

DRUM FITNESS

Unleash your inner rock star! – this is a LOUD class and tones up legs, bums and tums as well as the upper body as you constantly drum to the music. Squats, lunges and sit ups would all be in this kind of workout. Suitable for all

BIG BALL

Using a 55cm inflated ball this class trains strength, balance and core, A basic knowledge of Pilates is essential. Intermediate / advanced level.
